Mixed reality portal is not a part of Windows 10 version 1709 and works out of the box with premium VR headsets. To run the portal on your computer or laptop you need recommended hardware configuration and ports for Windows Mixed Reality immersive headset that you are using. To check compatibility match the specification of your computer with the table below.
For best results, Windows checks for hardware compatibility when you start the portal for the first time but you can force the portal to run without the hardware check.

1. Mixed reality portal works best on larger screen (15.3 inches or larger)
2. Hybrid graphics configurations are compatible only with a Windows Mixed Reality Ultra setup. The hybrid system’s discrete card must meet the same specifications listed for Windows Mixed Reality Ultra above.
3. If you are using a headset that requires hardware ports, so you need to ensure you have the right ports or the port adapters required to connect the headset to your computer.
4. Discrete and integrated graphics hardware compatibility isn’t tested, confirmed or optimized.
